This was actually shot from slightly above the band, from a set of stairs, using my Canon TS-E90mm f/2.8 tilt-shift lens in tilted, shifted, and rotated mode -- yes, all three. Although there are folks who say shifting doesn't matter that much when using tilt, I disagree.
I then made alterations to highlights, shadows, colors, and tweaked some HDR effects in Topaz Adjust 5, including making levels adjustments, changes to granularity of individual controls, and then some local alterations so it didn't come "straight from the can."
I love the action of the dancers in the foreground, which add some additional interest and balance to the image. This might be another image for my office wall!
